Reports

The reports provide statistical information on the events in the novomind iAGENT system. When you select a specific report, the system first presents an overview with a short description, the relevant parameters and grouping options, according to which the results can be filtered/concretised, and a report preview.
After you have defined the basic data of a report according to your requirements, you can save these settings for reuse in the future. For these individual report specifications, the Reports-menu contains the item My Reports.

The Reports menu is divided into:

novomind iAGENT already offers a large number of useful report templates as delivered. You can create custom report templates for your company or have them created by novomind. Reports that have been configured, saved and shared with you by other supervisors are listed under Shared Reports.

Buttons and general reporting functionalities:

Report queries may be saved user specific for each report. After a click on the button Save, a dialogue appears which offers all relevant filter parameters to be saved within the filter.

Special behaviour on date parameters:
• When an absolute date with a defined start and end is used as a filter for the report, this absolute dates will be saved with the filter as is. So the same dates wll be used on the next report execution again.
• When a relative date is has been chosen from the date dialogue (f.e. “last month”), only this relative date period information will be saved. This will be evalutated again every time the report filter will be executed in the future.

Distribution of user-specific filters
All user specific filters may be published to other supervisors through the group privileges. A privilege will be created for each report, even if the report is created through the report generator.

A click on the Reset button removes all entered filter parameters to achieve a blank filter dialogue again.

Report execution modes:

Show the result of the report directly in the novomind iAGENT Supervisor application.

Through this Filter button, a headline with filter input fields for each column appears at the top of the report result list (in case the report result is shown directly in the novomind iAGENT Supervisor application). They may be removed by pressing the same button again. The displayed report result may be filtered any further through this fields.

Select the desired columns for the report in display mode. A drop-down menu on this button can be used to show or hide all available columns for this report definition. This has no influence on the file export mode.

The Export button starts the report execution and offers a download dialogue to save or open the created Excel File .xlxs. A special privilege on the system group (Dataexport – Download) unlocks this export button.
If the dropdown functionality of this button is used and the “as CSV” entry has been clicked, the export format will be a pure text file .csv.
A download is started and the resulting file is opened immediately with the application associated in the operating system (e.g. Excel). Which application this is depends on the configuration of the local user operating system. The novomind iAGENT Supervisor application has no influence on this.

Report grouping:
Many reports offer a grouping option, whereas date fields may be grouped by many different intervals as hourly, quarterly, yearly, etc.
