Mail area

The Mail area in novomind iAGENT Desk is divided into several areas:

The upper area (1) comprises the central button bar, which is always visible and which provides the user with a number of functions as well as displays information about their login status and user name. A detailed description of the button bar is available in chapter Title bar.

The window in the upper left-hand area (2) is the folder list that provides information about the available mail inboxes. The contents of each of the inbox folders are displayed in the upper right-hand window (3) when a folder is selected. Once a user has logged in, the contents of their personal mail folder (inbox) are automatically opened here. More detailed information about the folders and the mail list is provided in chapters Folder and Personal Inbox.

In the Info area in the bottom left corner (4), the customer’s mail will be displayed as well as further details pertaining to that mail on different tabs. The individual tabs and the functionality that they provide are covered in more detail in chapter Info area.

The window on the bottom right (5) is the mail Editor. This is where mail replies to customers are created and processed. You will find more specific information about the mail Editor in the Chapter Editor.

The main menu (6) is on the left side and offers the individual channels, home area of the agent and leads to the manual and information about the iAGENT System version.

You can use either the mouse or the computer keyboard when working with the novomind iAGENT Desk.
